Canyon in Flatout 2
Canyon is a Street Class car in FlatOut 2 and FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage. It is favored by many in derby matches, because of its weight and durability.
It is driven by Sofia Martinez.
Performance: The Canyon is fast when driving a straight road reaching 278 km/h (167 mp/h), and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.7 seconds. The Canyon is the strongest vehicle in Flatout 2 with by far the heaviest weight and very high strength. It also launches fast. These characteristics make it arguably the best in Street class derbies. The Canyon also has a powerful nitro boost. However it has inferior top speed, high-speed acceleration and is very sluggish in corners due to its weight. In addition landing is uncomfortable due to its long length. Therefore it is a generally poor race car.
The Canyon has changed significantly in Flatout: Ultimate Carnage. It has become much lighter. This made the Canyon accelerate and corner better than before. The lighter weight has made the Canyon more susceptible to damage and it concedes its title as the strongest Street class car to the incredibly heavy and strong Crusader (at least in this game).
In Flatout 2 the redline sits at 5.500 rpm.
