The Upgrade Shop allows the player to upgrade their cars' performance. Higher-level and more expensive cars have more upgrade parts available to them, but, as a result, they get more expensive. The Car Parts are classified from the same form as the original FlatOut's Tuning Shop, but there is added stuff to it, like Tires and Brakes being separate upgrades, and Weight Reduction, along with roll bars and all those other tuning stuff.
